प्रवेशपात्रता परीक्षा जून 2025
महाराष्ट्रातील विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी "राष्ट्रीय भारतीय सैन्य महाविद्यालय, डेहराडून (उत्तराखंड) येथे फक्त इयत्ता 8 वी साठीची प्रवेशपात्रता परीक्षा आहे" ही परीक्षा दिनांक 01 जून, 2025 रोजी पुणे येथे घेण्यात येणार आहे.
सदर परीक्षेसाठी मुले व मुली प्रविष्ट होऊ शकतात.
1) शैक्षणिक पात्रता : विद्यार्थी विद्यार्थीनी (उमेदवार) दि. 01 जानेवारी, 2026 रोजी कोणत्याही मान्यताप्राप्त शाळेमध्ये इयत्ता 7 वी वर्गात शिकत असावा किंवा 7 वी उत्तीर्ण झालेला असावा.
2) वय : या परीक्षेसाठी विद्यार्थी / विद्यार्थीनीचे वयोमर्यादा (वय) दिनांक 01 जानेवारी, 2026 रोजी 11½ (अकरा वर्ष सहा महिने) पेक्षा कमी आणि 13 (तेरा) वर्षापेक्षा अधिक नसावे, म्हणजेच विद्यार्थी विद्यार्थीनीचा जन्म दिनांक 02 जानेवारी 2013 च्या आधीचा व दिनांक 01 जुलै 2014 च्या नंतरचा नसावा.

APPLICATION FOR ADMISSION TO CLASS VI AND CLASS IX FOR ACADEMIC SESSION 2025-26
1. Applications are invited for admission to Class VI (Boys & Girls) and Class IX (Boys & Girls) in Rashtriya Military Schools located at Chail (Himachal Pradesh), Ajmer (Rajasthan), Belgaum (Karnataka), Bengaluru (Karnataka) and Dholpur (Rajasthan) for the Academic Session 2025-26.
2. Rashtriya Military Schools are fully residential public schools affiliated to CBSE and function under the aegis of Ministry of Defence.
3. Eligibility
(a) Age.
(i) Class VI. Candidates (Boys & Girls) aged between 10-12 years as on 31 March 2025 (born between 01 April 2013 to 31 March 2015, both days inclusive) are eligible.
(ii) Class IX. (Boys & Girls) aged between 13-15 years as on 31 March 2025 (born between 01 April 2010 to 31 March 2012, both days inclusive) are eligible.
Note. Six months relaxation in upper age limit is permissible for the wards of personnel Killed in Action for admission to Class VI and Class IX respectively.
(b) Educational Qualification
(i) Class VI. Candidate should have passed Class V from a govt/recognized school before the date of admission. Students studying in Class V are also eligible to appear in the entrance test for Class VI.
(ii) Class IX. Candidate should have passed Class VIII from a govt/recognized school before the date of admission. Students studying in Class VIII are also eligible to appear in the entrance test for Class IX.
(c) Entrance Examination: The date of Multiple Choice OMR based Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to Class VI & IX will be forwarded to all candidates on their registered E-mail ids & mobile numbers through Email & SMS respectively. In addition, such information will also be available on RMSs website www.rashtriyamilitaryschools.edu.in and https://apply-delhi.nielit.gov.in/. The Common Entrance Test will consist of subjects as mentioned below:-

4. Reservation of Vacancies
(a) 70% for wards of JCOs/OR of Army, Navy and Air Force (including ex-servicemen).
(b) (c) A max of 50 seats in all classes put together are earmarked for category "Killed in Action" in all five RMSs 30% for wards of Officers of Army. Navy and AF (including retired officers) and wards of civilians.together at any point of time. Note: 27%, 15% and 7.5% seats are reserved for OBC (Non Creamy Layer), SC and ST candidates respectively in all categories. For CI-VI & IX, 10% seats or 30 vacancies maximum (put together in all 05 RMSs) will be reserved for Girl candidates

5. Admit Cards, Interview and Results.
Candidates who clear the Common Entrance Test and are figuring in the merit list will be required to appear for Interview at designated Rashtriya Military Schools. Final merit list will be prepared after the Interview.
6. Medical. Shortlisted candidates based on cumulative score of CET and interview will have to undergo medical exam at Military Hospitals as nominated by the Director General of Medical Services prior to admission. Only those candidates found medically fit will be offered admission.

8. Important Instructions:-
(a) Parents/candidates should exercise due care while filling up the online application form. भारत के राष्ट्रीय मिलिट्री स्कूलों शैक्षणिक सत्र 2025-26 के लिए कक्षा 6 व कक्षा 9 में दाखिले के लिए आवेदन-पत्र
चैल (हिमाचल प्रदेष), अजमेर (राजस्थान), बेलगाम (कर्नाटक), बैंगलूरू (कर्नाटक) और धौलपुर (राजस्थान) स्थित राष्ट्रीय मिलिट्री स्कूलों में कक्षा 6 (छात्र और छात्राओं के लिए) और कक्षा 9 (छात्र और छात्राओं के लिए) में शैक्षणिक सत्र 2025-26 में दाखिले के लिए आवेदन-पत्र।
2 राष्ट्रीय मिलिट्री स्कूल केन्द्रीय माध्यमिक षिक्षा बोर्ड से सम्बद्ध, पूर्णतः आवासीय पब्लिक स्कूल है और रक्षा मंत्रालय के संरक्षण में संचालित है।
3. पात्रताः-
(प) कक्षा 6. अभ्यार्थी (छात्र और छात्राओं के लिए) की आयु 31 मार्च 2025 को 10 से 12 वर्ष के बीच (01 अप्रैल दोनो दिन सम्मिलित) होनी चाहिए । 2013 से 31 मार्च 2015 के मध्य में जन्मे हों.
(क) आयु
(पप) कक्षा 9. अभ्यार्थी (छात्र और छात्राओं के लिए) की आयु 31 मार्च 2025 को 13 से 15 वर्ष के बीच (01 अप्रैल 2010 से 31 मार्च 2012 के मध्य में जन्मे हों,
दोनो दिन सम्मिलित) होनी चाहिए । नोट, युद्ध में शहीद सैनिकों के बच्चों के लिए कक्षा 6 व कक्षा 9 में प्रवेष की ऊपरी आयु सीमा में छः माह की छूट स्वीकार्य है।
(ख) वैक्षणिक योग्यता.
(प) कक्षा 6. प्रार्थी का किसी सरकारी मान्यता प्राप्त स्कूल से पांचवीं कक्षा उत्तीर्ण होना अनिवार्य है। जो विद्यार्थी कक्षा पांचवी में पढ़ रहे है वे भी कक्षा छवी की
प्रवेष परीक्षा में बैठ सकते हैं। (पप) कक्षा 9. प्राथी का किसी सरकारी मान्यता प्राप्त स्कूल से आठवीं कक्षा उत्तीर्ण होना अनिवार्य है। जो विद्यार्थी कक्षा आठ में पढ़ रहे हैं वे भी कक्षा नवीं की प्रयेष परीक्षा में बैठ सकते हैं।
(ग) प्रवेष परीक्षा, बहुविकल्पीय ओएमआर पर आधारित प्रवेष परीक्षा के लिए कक्षा VI व IX हेतु संयुक्त प्रवेष परीक्षा की तिथि के बारे में सभी नामांकित
निम्नलिखित
अभ्यार्थियों को रजिस्टर्ड ईमेल आईडी, मोबाईल पर ईमेल/ एसएमएस के द्वारा सूचित कर दिया जाएगा। इसके अलावा यह सूचना स्कूल वेबसाईट
(1) 6 बुद्धि परीक्षण, गणित, सामान्य ज्ञान और अंग्रेजी 5वीं स्तर के प्रश्नों पर आधारित
(2) 9 अंग्रेजी, हिन्दी सामाजिक विज्ञान, गणित तथा विज्ञान 8वीं स्तर के प्रश्नों पर आधारित
रिक्तियों पर आरक्षण
(a) सेना, नौसेना और वायुसेना के जेसीओ तथा अन्य रैंक (इनमें भूतपूर्व सैनिक भी शामिल हैं) के बच्चों के लिए 70%। (b) सेना, नौसेना और वायुसेना के अफसरों (सेवानिवृत्त अधिकारियों सहित) और सिविलियन के बच्चों के लिए 30%।
(c) युद्ध में मारे गए सैन्य कार्मिकों के बच्चों के लिए सभी राष्ट्रीय मिलिट्री स्कूलों में सम्मिलित रूप से किसी भी एक समय में अधिकतम 50 सीट (सभी कक्षाओं को मिलाकर) आरक्षित है।
नोटः अन्य पिछड़ा वर्ग (नॉन क्रीमी लेयर), अनुसूचित जाति और अनुसूचित जनजाति श्रेणी के कार्मिकों के बच्चों के लिए क्रमषः 27% 15% और 7.5% सीटें सभी श्रेणियों में आरक्षित है। कक्षा VI व IX के लिए 10 प्रतिषत सीट अथवा अधिकतम 30 सीटें (सभी पाँचों स्कूलों को मिलाकर) छात्राओं के लिए आरक्षित हैं।
प्रदेष पत्र, साक्षात्कार, तथा परिणाम, सफल अभ्यर्थियों को निधारित राष्ट्रीय मिलिट्री स्कूल में राक्षात्कार के लिए उपस्थित होना होगा। अंतिम योग्यता सूची साक्षात्कार के बाद तैयार की जाएगी। प्रवेष पत्र तथा नतीजे स्कूल की वेबसाइट
चिकित्सीय जाँच प्रवेष परीक्षा पर आधारित चुने हुये अभ्यर्थियों को दाखिले से पहले महानिदेषक, चिकित्सा सेवा द्वारा नामित कमान / जोनल और सैन्य अस्पतालों में चिकित्सीय जाँच करवानी होगी और केवल उन्हीं अभ्यर्थियों को प्रदेष दिया जाएगा जो इस जाँच में फिट पाए जाएंगे।
वेबसाइट पर आवेदन दिनांक 21 अगस्त 2024 (10:00 बजे) से उपलब्ध होगा । आवेदन पत्र भरने और फीस जमा करने की अन्तिम दिनांक 19 सितम्बर 2024 (2000 बजे) तक है।

Prospectus-cum-Application Form and Booklet of Old Question Papers can be
obtained by sending a written request with a demand draft of Rs 600/- for
General Candidates & Rs 555/- for SC/ST candidates along with caste
certificate in favour of "THE COMMANDANT RIMC FUND", DRAWEE BRANCH,
HDFC BANK, BALLUPUR CHOWK, DEHRADUN, (BANK CODE-1399), UTTARAKHAND. The address
should be typed/written clearly in CAPITAL LETTERS with Pin Code and contact
number. RIMC will NOT be responsible for any postal delay or loss in transit of
prospectus caused by illegible or incomplete address. The delay on part of
postal department is not the responsibility of RIMC.
Note:
The Application Form issued by
RIMC only shall be valid. Application Forms locally printed/ photocopied and
without RIMC Hologram (seal) shall not be accepted.
No refund of the application fee
will be done under any condition.
Э. Documents. Applications are to

(a) Birth Certificate (issued by
Municipal Corporation/Gram Panchayat).
(b) Domicile Certificate of the
candidate.
(c) SC/ST Certificate (where

(d) A certificate from the
Principal of the current school in which the candidate is studying, with
photograph attested stating the date of birth (as per the school records) and
the class in which the candidate is studying is to be submitted in original.
(e) Photocopy of Aadhar Card of
the Candidate (both sides) is a mandatory requirement failing which application
will be rejected.
(f) Two passport size
photographs.
Note: Application Form should
reach the respective State Governments (as given in Guidelines to Admission) by
15 Apr 2024. Kindly note that Application Form must be sent to the State
Government and not to the Rashtriya Indian Military College, Dehradun,
Uttarakhand.
10. Conduct of Examination by
States /UTs. It is requested that necessary arrangements may please be made for
holding the examination in the States, the name of the officers nominated for
conducting the examination (with telephone, fax numbers and e-mail address) and
demand of Question Papers may be communicated to the Commandant, RIMC, Dehradun
by 25 Apr 2024. Adequate Publicity may please be given regarding this
examination in the local newspapers at least twice or thrice through press
release before 28 Feb 2024.
11. Answer books in respect of
the candidates along with the Application Form may please be forwarded at the
end of the examination in a sealed cover to the Commandant, RIMC, Dehradun,
Uttarakhand, (PIN-248003).
12. The viva-voce will be
conducted by the State Governments only for those candidates who have qualified
in the written examination on the date which will be intimated later. The
constitution of the selection board is briefly mentioned in Para 8 of the
Regulations Governing RIMC and shall be as follows:
(a) Chief Secretary to the
Government or in case the State Government so desires, any other Secretary of
the State Government nominated by him.
(b) Two Military officers. (One
of them should not be below the rank of Lt Col or equivalent from Army, Air
Force or Navy). These officers will be detailed as far as possible from the
nearest Military Station and all expenses of TA and DA etc will be borne by the
Government of India.
(c) The State Director of Public
Institutions or Director of Education or some senior officer nominated by him.
(d) Where practicable, a member
of the State Public Service Commission.
13. The result of the viva-voce
must be sent in a sealed envelope to the Commandant, RIMC, Dehradun,
immediately after the conduct of viva-voce. The same must also be conveyed by
email the same day. The email id is rimc-uk@nic.in.
Only the candidates finally
selected after the viva-voice only will undergo a Medical Examination at
selected Military Hospitals and only the candidates found medically fit will be
considered for selection and admission to the RIMC, Candidates should not
consider themselves selected until Joining Instruction to this effect is issued
and Call Up Notices are sent to them by the College authorities.
14. Medical Examination.
15. Under no circumstances, any
candidate or parents/guardians/relatives or friends are permitted to approach
any officer in the Service Headquarters or any other person concerned with the
selection of the candidates. Any attempt to do so is liable to result in
rejection of the candidate.
16. A copy of the Press Note
issued in this connection is enclosed for information. You are requested to
publish the Press Note given with the notification.
17. Important Dates. Please note
the under mentioned dates:-
(a) Press Note by State
Government to be published before 28 Feb 2024.
(b) Last date for acceptance of
applications by State Governments 15 Apr 2024.
(c) Conduct of written exam 01 Jun 2024.
(d) Conduct of viva-voce of only

PRESS RELEASE FOR RIMC ENTRANCE
EXAMINATION: JUN 2024 PRESS INFORMATION BUREAU (DEFENCE WING) GOVERNMENT OF
INDIA
1. The Rashtriya Indian Military
College is a Category 'A' Training Establishment of the Ministry of Defence.
The College was established in 1922 with the primary aim of providing quality
all round education.
2. Applications are invited from
Boys and Girls for admission to Class VIII in the Rashtriya Indian Military
College (RIMC), Dehradun (UK) for Jan 2025 Term which will be conducted at
specified centres of respective states on 01 Jun 2024 (Saturday).
3. Entry Age. Candidates
appearing for the above test should not be less than 11% years in age and should
not have attained the age of 13 years as on 01 Jan 2025, i.e. they should have
been born, not earlier than 02 Jan 2012 and not later than 01 Jul 2013.
4. Educational Qualification.
Candidates should either be studying in Class VII or passed Class VII from any
recognised school at the time of admission to the RIMC, i.e. on 01 Jan 2025.
5. Scheme of Examination. The
examination comprises of the following:-
(a) Written Examination. The
examination in Mathematics (0930-1100hrs), General Knowledge (1200-1300hrs) and
English (1430-1630) shall be conducted on 01 Jun 2024 (Saturday).
(b) Viva-Voce. The date will be
intimated later and will be held for only those candidates who qualify in the
written exam. Intelligence, personality and communication skills of the
candidates will be tested in the viva-voce.
(c) Medical Examination. All the
candidates qualified after viva-voce will undergo a medical examination at
selected Military Hospitals and only those candidates found medically fit will
be considered for selection and admission to the RIMC. The medical examination of
the candidates, forms only a part of the selection process and does not imply
the final selection.
(d) The wards of Central
Government employees can take their exam and viva-voce at the place of posting
of employee/ domicile state. However, their candidature will be considered from
their original domicile state. It is therefore mandatory to submit the
application in the same state where the exam has to be taken.
(e) Viva-voce will be held for
only those candidates who pass the written exam. The list will be sent to the
respective State Governments by RIMC.
(f) Results will be updated on
RIMC website www.rimc.gov.in. It is the candidate's responsibility to check the
status regularly.
6. Examination Centers.
Examination centers are generally located in the state capitals or in
cities/towns as advertised.
7. Fee. The annual fee is Rs.
77500/- for General Candidates and Rs. 63900/- for SC/ST Candidates except for
the first year. The fee structure may be revised periodically. Details of the
annual fee for the first year are as under:-

Prospectus-cum Application Form and Booklet of Old Question Papers will be
dispatched by Speed Post only).
