Cancellation of UGC-NET June 2024 Examination
The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the UGC-NET June 2024 Examination in OMR (pen and paper) mode on 18th June, 2024 in two shifts across different cities of the country.
On 19th June, 2024, the University Grants Commission (UGC) received certain inputs from National Cyber Crime Threat Analytics Unit of Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Ministry of Home Affairs on the Examination. These inputs prima-facie indicate that the integrity of the aforesaid examination may have been compromised.

To ensure the highest level of transparency and sanctity of the examination process, the Ministry of Education, Government of India has decided that the UGC-NET June 2024 Examination be cancelled. A fresh examination shall be conducted, for which information shall be shared separately. Simultaneously, the matter is being handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation (C.B.I.) for thorough investigation in the matter.

नॅशनल टेस्टिंग एजन्सी (NTA) ने UGC-NET जून 2024 परीक्षा OMR (पेन आणि पेपर) मोडमध्ये 18 जून 2024 रोजी देशातील विविध शहरांमध्ये दोन शिफ्टमध्ये घेतली.
19 जून, 2024 रोजी, विद्यापीठ अनुदान आयोगाला (UGC) गृह मंत्रालयाच्या अंतर्गत भारतीय सायबर क्राइम कोऑर्डिनेशन सेंटर (I4C) च्या नॅशनल सायबर क्राइम थ्रेट ॲनालिटिक्स युनिटकडून परीक्षेवर काही इनपुट मिळाले. हे इनपुट प्रथमदर्शनी सूचित करतात की उपरोक्त परीक्षेच्या अखंडतेशी तडजोड झाली असावी.
परीक्षा प्रक्रियेची सर्वोच्च पातळी पारदर्शकता आणि पावित्र्य सुनिश्चित करण्यासाठी, भारत सरकारच्या शिक्षण मंत्रालयाने UGC-NET जून 2024 ची परीक्षा रद्द करण्याचा निर्णय घेतला आहे. नवीन परीक्षा घेतली जाईल, ज्यासाठी माहिती स्वतंत्रपणे सामायिक केली जाईल. त्याचबरोबर या प्रकरणाच्या सखोल तपासासाठी हे प्रकरण केंद्रीय अन्वेषण ब्युरो (C.B.I.) कडे सोपवण्यात येत आहे.

This is to inform all concerned candidates that due to certain unavoidable circumstances, some of the National Testing Agency (NTA) examinations were postponed/cancelled.
Now, the fresh dates for these examinations have been finalized as per the details given below:

*The UGC NET June 2024 Cycle examination was earlier held in Pen & paper (offline) mode. However, it will now be held in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
For further information, the Candidates are advised to visit the official website of NΤΑ (www.nta.ac.in)
The All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2024 will be held as earlier scheduled on 06 July 2024.
